Coordinates and supervises the daily and weekly activities that occur at CNG, LNG and/or LCNG stations within their assigned region. The supervisor provides leadership, motivation, training, and development of Service Technicians and ensures that all activities performed comply with Clean Energy’s / OSHA’s safety protocols and are to the Clean Energy’s standard. Ensures that activities are in line with customer/site requirements and participates in continuous improvement activities as part of the Operations management team. The Supervisor ensures that company policies are followed, and the staff develops a positive work culture that ensures are leadership position in the Industry.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Supervise Clean Energy technicians throughout their assigned region. These technicians service, maintain, repair, and make improvements to equipment located at CNG, LNG and LCNG fueling stations which operate 24-hours-a-day, 7-days-a-week.
Provide mentoring, motivation and course correction activities to the service technicians they manage. Including annual reviews and periodic formal or informal follow discussions, as needed.
Ensure all work complies with both Clean Energy and OSHA safety requirements. Report any accidents or improper procedure / activity to management in a timely fashion.
Collaborate with the Operations Center, specifically Maintenance Planners, to assign routes and preventive maintenance routines to technicians. Follow up daily ensuring completion of assigned tasks.
Review completed service orders to ensure critical data is recorded, such as fluid levels, temperatures and pressures and review notes entered by technicians for completeness. Compare to trends and have the ability to recommend corrections as needed.
Review and assist in all field activities as needed, provide guidance where needed to ensure proper station operation, timely repairs and accurate diagnosis of problems, including formal root cause analysis.
Make routine in person inspections of fueling locations to ensure proper maintenance activities are completed and comply with CE standards.
Participate in quality assurance reviews of newly constructed stations by performing walk through and generating punch list items. Follow up to ensure punch list are completed in a timely manner.
Maintain fueling sites compliance with CUPA’s rules and regulations, manage and ensure proper ongoing Operations permits and licenses are renewed and secured.
Coverage at other stations in neighboring states may be required due to business needs.

Education and/or Experience
Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Management, or related field, plus a minimum of 5 years of related experience and a minimum of 2 years of management experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions. Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.
Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
