Summary
The Assembler III will work as assigned manufacturing sub-assemblies and main assemblies. The assembler is responsible for quality workmanship. The will pressure test piping systems, tubing systems, rebuild compressor blocks, and safety reliefs as required. They will wire and trouble shoot electrical and controls systems.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

Ensure quality of work showing an eye for detail.
Ensure that time is properly tracked and allocated to each job.
Ensure materials are properly tracked and allocated to each job for costing purposes.
Maintain a safe work environment within that department and on each job.
Responsible to identify areas for improvement, and the use of Non-conformance Reports.
To be punctual and available for a minimum of 40hrs of work per week.
Perform work in accordance with NorthStar Inc. documented policies and procedures.
Complete all applicable Quality records.
Other duties as assigned.

Education and/or Experience
High School Diploma (preferred) or equivalent plus a minimum of 3 - 5 years of manufacturing experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.

⦁ Knowledgeable of gaseous fueling equipment and their operations.
⦁ Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics.
⦁ Knowledge of equipment, tools, mechanical devices used for assemblies.
⦁ Background of electrical such as but not limited to electrical wiring, panels, transducers, motors, solenoids, and power supplies

Language Skills
Ability to read and comprehend instructions, policies and procedures, correspondence, and memos. Ability to write correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.

Mathematical Skills
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.

Reasoning Ability
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions. Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations. Ability to use logic and reasoning.

Computer Skills
Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
