Accounting Clerk

General Duties: Performs a variety of data processing and accounting tasks involving the general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable and assessments. Verifies proper accounting codes used and is responsible for monthly financial report generation for both internal and external users. Must be detail oriented.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: 2+ years of Post-secondary education from accredited university, community college or business school with accounting degree and 2+ years of experience in financial Accounting and Microsoft Office Suite experience.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field, 1-2 years of experience in governmental accounting and an understanding of accounting processes and policies.
