Accounting / Assistant Finance Director
The City of Willoughby Hills is accepting resumes for the position of Assistant Finance Director.
This position supports the Finance Director in overseeing the financial operation of the City. It is primarily responsible for general accounting, the administration of payroll and human resources and accounts payable and receivable.
• Qualified candidates must possess a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance or a closely related field.
• Excellent written/verbal communication skills are required as this position interacts with all levels of staff, the public, and outside agencies.
• Prior municipal or other governmental finance experience in progressively responsible financial supervisory roles
• Payroll experience and experience with CMI accounting/payroll software are considered a plus.
This position is open until filled. The pay range will commiserate with experience and skills.
