SUMMARY:
Adventurers wanted! The City of Wentzville is seeking a Full Time I.T. Project Coordinator. This position will manage Citywide resources, scheduling, and planning for project-related activities. Responsible for coordinating IT-related training for all City employees and tracking the overall efficiency of the IT staff.

ESSENTIAL & ANCILLARY JOB DUTIES:
Essential Job Duties
- Collaborate with stakeholders and project teams to define project scope, deliverables, budget,
- and timelines.
- Coordinate project activities, resources, and equipment; monitor and track project progress and
- handle issues as they arise.
- Maintain documentation on the progress of projects, and prepare reports for stakeholders
- concerning deliverables and project status.
- Work alongside the IT Director, interfacing with team members, vendors, and contractors to
- complete project-related tasks.
- Monitor and assess IT staff performance using Key Performance Indicators (KPI).
- Assist the IT Director in the creation, management, and tracking of the departmental budget.
- Assist in facilitating a training curriculum for the IT staff and city employees as required.
- Assist in the development of IT standards, policies, and procedures.
- Log and track assets, including software, hardware, and maintenance agreements.
- Participate in an on-call rotation for after-hours emergencies, including weekends and holidays.
Ancillary Job Duties
- Assist with helpdesk tickets as required.
- Assist the Information Technology Director in the execution of his/her duties.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
JOB QUALIFICATIONS & KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
Job Qualifications – Education, experience, and training that are required or desirable in order to effectively perform the job at the time of hire. An equivalent combination of education, training, and experience will be considered. Additional requirements and/or substitutions may be requested and require the approval of HR.
- Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university in a computer-related field is
- required.
- Valid state-issued driver’s license.
- Professional-level experience performing project-related functions, including IT project
- coordination, is desired.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities – May be representative, but not all-inclusive, of
those knowledge, skills, and abilities commonly associated with this position.
- Knowledge of available computing and/or network hardware and peripheral equipment.
- Knowledge of networking technology in order to accurately assess system functionality.
- Ability to maintain and troubleshoot computer and/or network hardware, software, and
- peripherals.
- Ability to work in a team environment.
- Ability to determine computer problems and to coordinate hardware and/or software solutions.
- Ability to create and maintain written technical documentation.
- Ability to effectively multitask and prioritize projects.
- Ability to gather and analyze information, draw conclusions, define problems, and suggest
- solutions.
- Ability to conduct training and informational sessions.
- Ability to communicate effectively, either orally and in writing.
- Strong understanding of desktop operating systems.
- Demonstrate strong problem-solving skills.
- Regular attendance is a necessary and essential job duty.

Work Environment – Environmental or atmospheric conditions commonly associated with the performance of the duties of this job.
