Customer Relations Representative

Starting pay: $17.94/hr.

Position Summary:

The Customer Relations Representative's typical duties include providing accurate, exceptional, and courteous customer service when processing program registrations, facility reservations, and activity information to both internal and external customers for the Parks & Recreation Department. This role provides general leadership, training, and work direction of assigned department team members and serves as Manager on Duty (MOD) as needed.

 

Job Requirements:

  • Associate degree required. A high school diploma combined with equivalent experience may be considered instead of a degree.

 

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

 

  • General knowledge of the City to answer questions from the public.
  • Proficiency in using essential business software (word processing, spreadsheets, email, presentations) and essential office equipment.
  • Ability to perform routine tasks.
  • Ability to work independently under the direct supervision and make responsible decisions.
  • Ability to solve problems within defined parameters and under clearly established processes.
  • Clear verbal communication skills and ability to give and follow written and oral instructions.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
