Police Open Competitive Entrance Exam- Saturday, March 11, 2023

The City of Painesville Civil Service Commission is accepting applications for the position of Patrolman. Applicants must be at least 21 years of age and under 37 years of age at time of original appointment. An Ohio Police Officer Training Academy (OPOTA) Certificate is required at the time of original appointment.

Applicants should visit Painesville.com/Employment to print an application. Applications must be completed and confirmed by the police department by 3:00 pm on Friday, March 3, 2023. As part of the application there is also a $25.00 non-refundable testing fee payable to the City of Painesville, 7 Richmond Street, Painesville, OH 44077.
