911 Emergency Dispatcher Full Time/Part Time Positions Available
The City of Mentor is seeking Part-time and Full-time Emergency Communications Dispatchers responsible for processing emergency calls from the public and dispatching emergency units. Work entails exercising judgment in coordinating responses to situations which may affect the lives and safety of the public, police, and fire personnel. Work relies heavily on the use of complex computer and technical equipment. Advance multi-tasking skills are necessary. Must be able to work rotating shifts and some weekends and holidays. High school graduate or GED required. Prior dispatch, customer service and computer experience preferred.
Rate of pay: Full Time position $44,938.40/annually; Part Time position $18.39-$28.70 per hour.
