City of Kettering, OH Parks, Recreation and Cultural Arts Department is looking for an individual skilled in customer service to fill a Regular Part-time Clerk position for the Kettering Recreation Complex (KRC). This position greets patrons and answers questions regarding the facility, programs and the department, is responsible for all financial transactions as required for each recreation pass or activity and accepts payment for each program, activity or seasonal pass.
Other responsibilities include answering phones and directing calls and answering questions; dispersing program information to each registrant; generating a roster of all program registrants for use by instructors; assisting in the development of goals and objectives pertinent to the KRC; Solving problems related to registration, including accepting complaints that result from the problems; completing requests for refunds/credits/transfers to registrants and forwarding to the appropriate supervisor. The Part-time Clerk is also responsible for counting and logging the day's profits, and opening or closing the front desk computers. Must have excellent oral and written communication skills with the ability to work and communicate effectively with staff, City officials and the general public.
Pay range $12.81/hour to $19.94/hour.
