Customer Service/ Administrative Professional
The Kettering Municipal Court Clerk of Court's Office is recruiting both a part-time and a full-time high-integrity, self-directed Deputy Clerk to provide exceptional customer service and administrative support to the public, law enforcement, attorneys and staff. Deputy Clerks use their proven skills to assist customers coming to the court for traffic, criminal and civil issues; use computer technology to initiate and manage document flow; learn and enhance complex court processes; provide in-person and over the phone excellent customer support; manage financial transactions; troubleshoot issues for court users and apply their strong personal ethics in a team-oriented, fast-paced, quality-focused, diverse environment. Must be detail-oriented, accurate and have good organizational and teamwork skills. Excellent communication and customer service skills required, along with a high level of proficiency in computer applications, including word processing, office practices and procedures and cash transactions. Previous experience in customer service and administrative/clerical roles desired, preferably supplemented by related coursework or degree.
Salary range $14/hour to $27/hour. Excellent benefits. Entry rate is contingent on candidate's related skills, knowledge and abilities.
