Recruiting for an exceptional professional who will report to the City Manager and/or Assistant City Manager and be responsible for hands-on development and management of all mediums of communication with the community, including, but not limited to, traditional and digital marketing, public affairs media relations, and multi-media productions. This position also prepares print and electronic publications, administers City social media accounts, and is responsible for overall City branding and promotions and advancing a positive image of the City. Must have outstanding English, writing, editing skills, research and interview techniques. A degree in Journalism, English, Communications, Public Relations, Public Administration or a related field, with a Master degree a plus and a minimum of 3 years experience in public administration, business management, journalism, mass media communications or public relations or an equivalent combination of experience and training which provides the required knowledge, skills and abilities. Offers excellent wages of up to $91,624/year.
