Full-time position available with KCMO’s Human Resources Department, Labor & Employee Relations Division, 414 E. 12th St. Normal Work Days/Hours: Monday-Friday, 8:00 a.m.-5:00 p.m. Provides support for grievance hearings, performance appraisal appeals, and City-wide trainings that are sensitive in nature and require specialized knowledge gained through experience and training. Provides information to employees, supervisors, and managers regarding routine labor & employee relation issues, City policies and practices, and union collective bargaining agreements. Informs new employees of City policies/rules/ordinances by conducting weekly New Employee Processing training. Assists with revising and communicating policies/procedures. Works with unions to schedule grievance hearings, attends grievance hearings and learns the grievance procedure. REQUIRES an accredited Bachelor’s degree. Salary Range: $18.24-$29.44/hour.
