Water/Wastewater Operator Position

The City of Hoyt Lakes is accepting applications for the full-time bargaining unit position of Water/Wastewater Operator. Position performs skilled work involving operating a water treatment facility and infrastructure, operating a wastewater treatment facility and infrastructure, sampling, water main breaks, and performs related duties as required. Must possess a valid Minnesota Class B driver's license (or ability to obtain within 6 months), two-year technical accredited college program in water and wastewater treatment or three years of related experience, Class D water operator certificate (or ability to obtain with 18 months), Class D wastewater operator certificate (or ability to obtain within 18 months), and must be able to pass a BCA background check.

Current salary is $30.04/hour with new employees being paid at 90% of this hourly wage during the probationary period.
