CITY OF HIGHLAND HEIGHTS PATROLMAN ENTRANCE EXAM
The Highland Heights Civil Service Commission will conduct a competitive entrance exam for full-time Patrolman with a written test on Thur, July 23, 2020. A min. passing score of 70% is req. to take the physical fitness test on Sat, Aug 15, 2020 to be further considered. Application pick-up is Mon, June 15 thru Fri., July 17, 2020, 24/7, at the Highland Hts. Police Dept., 5827 Highland Road, or at our website www.highlandhts.com. Applications must be returned to the Police Dept. Mon. thru Fri., from 8AM-4:30PM. Filing deadline is Fri., July 17 by 4:30PM. At date of exam the applicant must be a citizen of the U.S., a resident of Ohio for at least one year & at least 21 years of age. No person is eligible to receive an original appointment on or after the person’s 41st birthday. Applicant must submit a completed application form, color copy of valid Ohio driver’s license, copy of high school diploma or GED cert., copy of birth cert. or US Passport or US Naturalization cert., and a $25.00 non-refundable filing fee in the form of cash or check payable to City of Highland Heights. A valid OPOTA cert. or Cert. and Elig. letter dated on or before July 23, 2020 is optional and req. to claim police credit. A DD-214 is optional and req. to claim military credit.
