Notice of Position Available City of Clare

The City of Clare is accepting applications for a part-time Water and Waste Water Treatment Plant Administrative Assistant. The position is 20 to 29 hours per week. Applicants must have a minimum of a high school diploma (college courses a plus) with a knowledge of modern office practices and procedures, strong background in mathematics and English composition, records filing; ability to write legibly and maintain positive working relationships with fellow employees and the general public. Must also have a good understanding of computer software; working knowledge of modern records management techniques; and an ability to perform routine work in an accurate, efficient, self-motivated manner. Must be able to work under pressure and to consistently meet deadlines. Applicant must possess a valid Michigan Driver's license. Must have the ability to organize, prioritize and work independently.
