Customer Service Clerk - Bookkeeping
The City is accepting applications along with resumes for position of Customer Service Clerk in the Finance Department
Works under the administrative direction of the Accounting Supervisor. Processes various payments and assists customers with payments and questions. Input of invoices in the City's accounts payable system. Prepares daily bank deposits. Answers incoming telephone calls and routes to proper department. Performs other duties as assigned.
Essential Job Duties
Opens, closes and balances cash registers. Prepares daily bank deposit, administers petty cash and stamp fund. Maintains records of and performs the sale or transfer of cemetery lots. Distributes incoming mail for all departments. Maintains account payable input and balance. Performs internal audits or invoices and receipts submitted by the various departments.

- High School diploma or equivalent.
- Six months to one year experience in clerical position with data entry and bookkeeping.
- Accounting knowledge preferred.
