Cardiac Cath Lab Registered Nurse - Full Time, DC - $25,000 Bonus - (2300019A) All nursing practice is based on the legal scope of practice, national and specialty nursing standards, Children's National Policies and Procedures, and
in accordance with all applicable laws and regulations. The Professional Model of Care requires registered professional nurses to be responsible and
accountable for their own practice. Children's National supports the development of RN relationships within the community; specifically those
relationships associated with the health and well being of the community at large.
The Cardiac Catheterization Nursing encompasses the care of the patient and family/legal guardian. Pre-sedation, monitoring, and post sedation services are provided to care for a range of ages from infants to adults in collaboration with anesthesiologists and cardiologists. The Cath Lab Nurse cares for the acute and critically ill patient population during cardiac catheterization procedures and electrophysiology procedures. Minimum Education
Bachelor's Degree Graduated from an approved school of nursing (Required)
Minimum Work Experience
2 years In the field of ICU, ED, or area with sedation activities (Required)
2 years In the field of pediatric cardiology (Preferred)
