The Director of Web Strategy
The Director of Web Strategy manages the university’s external-facing website, providing strategic editorial direction on content, expertise and guidance on optimization and end-use experience, and participation in CMU’s web governance and leadership for the division’s web strategy team.
Required: Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, web communications and design, or another related field. Three or more years of proven experience in leading a web communications team.
The web strategist position provides leadership, consultation, advice, and project management to academic and administrative units across campus.
Required: Bachelor’s degree in digital media, marketing, communications, journalism, design or related field. At least three years or more of relevant experience. Must possess critical thinking, analytical, and creative talent to develop a concept, idea, or content into a strong visual presentation that maximizes marketing effectiveness.
UI/UX Designer I/II
The UI/UX Designer/Developer is a part of an agile development team responsible for designing, building and maintaining enterprise-grade software systems, primarily using the Microsoft .NET development stack.
Required: Associate's degree or equivalent experience in graphic design or a related field. Design or web design experience.
Landscape Maintenance Operator
Keeps campus grounds well maintained, tidy, attractive and presentable year-round. Ensures students, faculty and staff can safely move about campus even during inclement weather. Conducts the planting and routine care of lawns, trees, shrubs, landscape beds, athletic fields and other campus horticultural items. Required: High school education or equivalent. Two years of experience in landscape maintenance.
