Operations Support Specialist

Qualifications Required
1. Requires knowledge normally acquired through the completion of a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree.
2. Requires 3 years of related work experience to learn college’s data processing practices and IT/institutional policies.
3. Requires high analytical ability to produce and analyze and summarize data and recommendations, draft reports, prioritize tasks according to college timelines, and exchange information with internal stakeholders.
4. Requires a high level of Interpersonal skills necessary to gather and exchange information with college personnel.
5. Requires an advanced level of interpersonal and customer service skills, to exchange information about various computers and related equipment with college personnel, teams, vendors.- Additional job duties acquired when we started the service center. Assist in coverage when employees or management are gone.

General Summary
Provides administrative and technical support to all ITS Teams, Service Center & ITS Manager to include: collaboration, internal and vendor communications, calendar scheduling and ESM/P-Card transactions. Performs a critical daily role in supporting users in the delivery of VOIP technology, Digital Signage, Video Room Scheduling and technical video setup/delivery. Performs skills and tasks associated with the college’s Service Center. Responsible for CCC Colleague Information System security and user access. Responsible for software operational duties related to ITS production room and related production hardware to include: scanning, printing, checks/special forms, electronic transmittals and report production. Monitors the Colleague Information System for performance issues, EDX processes & Phantom Processes. Expected to create and update operational run manuals and documents. Adhere to all CCC strategic plans, procedures and policies. Performs critical/quality customer service throughout all branches of the ITS Team.
