Residential Child Care Worker and Summer Recreation Associates
Do you have a passion and ability for working with troubled youth? Cedar Ridge is currently seeking applicants to fill positions in our Residential program for Full-time Child Care Workers and Summer Recreation Associates. The Child Care Worker position assists in all facets of cottage life, including but not limited to utilization of the behavior management system, transportation, overseeing meals, duties, and recreational activities. Applicants must be at least 21 years of age, pass a detailed background investigation, have a valid driver’s license and maintain a good driving record, and must become RCYCP Certified if not already qualified. The Summer Recreation Associate is responsible for supervising residents when they participate in the Summer Recreation Program and other activities Monday – Friday from June 24 – August 21, 2020. Applicants must be at least 21 years of age, pass a detailed background investigation, have a valid driver’s license and maintain a good driving record.
Special Education Middle/High School English Teacher
Cedar Ridge is in need of a Teacher for our Non-Public Special Education Program for the 2020-2021 school year to complete and carry out individual and group instructional planning for students that utilizes appropriate materials and activities to address each student's Individual Education Plan Applicants must have Maryland teaching certification in Special Education or be eligible for certification and have Maryland teaching certification in secondary English/Language Arts and/or OR eligibility for certification. Cedar Ridge is a non-denominational, non-profit Christian outreach. Through our radio station (WCRH, 90.5 FM), Children’s Home, and Special Education School programs, we seek to empower people to reach their full potential through the sharing of God's love.
