Social Activities Manager
We are seeking an organized, energetic and outgoing personality to create, promote and lead a wide range of activities and programs for our membership. Activities may be coordinated with local professionals to include educational hiking, skiing, pickleball, family fun night, SUP, orienteering and many other events throughout the year. A focus on junior/family programming is essential. This is a full-time year-round benefited position.
Position Summary:
Responsible for creating, promoting and executing club activities and programs for our members to enhance their overall enjoyment and value of their membership. Establish and maintain partnerships with a variety of professionals to provide the membership with a dynamic catalogue of programs.
Primary Duties:
- Plans recreational, social and educational activities for club members throughout the year.
- Promotes activities to generate enthusiasm and interest in the club’s diverse social and recreational programs.
- Plans activities and programs to appeal to different age groups and interests.
- Builds a strong youth activity/recreation program at the lake.
- Serves as primary contact for members for social and recreational activities.
- Leads or participates in scheduled events.
- Ensures necessary permits and insurance requirements are met and safety protocol is in place prior to an event.
- Tracks membership involvement and corresponds with members regarding programming
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree from a 4-year college or university preferred
- 1-3 years’ experience in the country club or hospitality industry
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Must be able to comfortably speak in front of small-to-large groups
- Strong organizational, multi-tasking and time management skills
- Varied outdoor recreation experience and expertise
- Current Colorado driver’s license and able to meet Catamount’s insurance requirements
- Current First Aid/CPR/AED certification
