Process Engineer

Process Engineer for BWay Corporation to work at our Leominster, MA loc. Duties: Implement [implem] mold cycle process improvements & provide substantial cost savings to org w/o jeopardizing safety or quality. Maximize machine performance, setups & SOP’s. Drive development & implem in SPC systems; eval & implem material advances in conjunction w/ E&TS. Develop & update preventative maintenance of molds & machines while working in conjunction w/ E&TS & machine suppliers. Aim for product & process improvements of existing ops. Be resource for mold & equipment repairs. Provide ongoing tech support to plant ops to ensure safety, productivity, quality & delivery performance for plant. Assist in component eval for new products & new product testing incl new mold & equipment installations. Maintain standard op procedures for molding machines & rel equipment. MUST HAVE 5 yrs rel exp working in manufacturing environment, and required skills (5 yrs exp) in: injection molding process; molding equipment; molding materials and mold tooling; and (2 yrs) project management. Alternatively, must have Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or other rel field; 3 yrs rel exp working in manufacturing environment; and required skills (3 yrs exp) in: injection molding process; molding equipment; molding materials and mold tooling; and (2 yrs) project management.
