Instructor/Assistant Professor/Specialist Teacher Fixed Term in The Department of Management The Eli Broad College of Business’ Department of Management is seeking outstanding candidates for fixed term faculty positions in Human Resource Management, Strategic Management, Organizational Behavior, Ethics & Diversity, Sports Business Management, Retail Management, and Entrepreneurship.

Qualifications: All ranks should hold a relevant area of scholarship (a Masters Degree for Instructor and Specialist Teacher ranks, or a Ph.D. or equivalent for Assistant Professor rank) and should be able to demonstrate exceptional ability or potential as a classroom instructor through summarized peer and/or student evaluations, and/or explicit commentary in letters of recommendation.

The position is based on an academic year appointment, though those seeking a part-time position will also be considered. The teaching load is 3-3 with the possibility of additional teaching opportunities with additional compensation.

Responsibilities: Teaching responsibilities would involve a combination of courses in the areas of Human Resource Management, Strategic Management, Organizational Behavior, Ethics & Diversity, Sports Business Management, Retail Management, and Entrepreneurship. Teaching could involve a mix of undergraduate, Full Time MBA (on campus), and Weekend MBA courses. Please note that a position could be part-time or full-time and vary by semester, depending on the needs of the department. It is possible that no positions are needed in some semesters. Position may include online instruction, on campus instruction, or both.
