Bridges Preparatory School

About

Bridges Preparatory School is a free, public state charter school, authorized by the South Carolina Public Charter School District. BPS opened in Beaufort in 2013. The school currently serves more than 1250 students in grades K-12. BPS opened a newly built facility in 2020 for middle and high school and 2021 for elementary. A full service competition gym facility will be finished in 2023. BPS is a Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (S.T.E.M.) school that employs the Paideia methodology.
