Technical Lead (Stamford, CT) for XL Reinsurance America, Inc., to design, develop and implement business applications using and integrating various technologies.
Requires Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science/Engineering, Electrical or Electronic Engineering, or related field of study. 5 years of full stack software development experience in any job title/occupation/position involving insurance/Reinsurance including the design, development and deployment of scalable enterprise OO application in C#, .NET using WinForm, ASP.Net, Modern Frontend framework, Web services, Micro services architecture and Queuing Frameworks with SQL Server as backend. Must have 5 years of experience with the following: development experience in C#, SQL, .Net Frameworks, Visual Studio, SSMS, TFS/GIT, HTML5, Web API, JSON, XML and REST API; web services, Web Development, Windows Platform, messaging architectures, data models and UML; Agile, SDLC, CI/CD and DevOps processes and working with offshore team. Must have 2 years of experience with the following: Intensive Financial Calculation or Modeling systems; with at least one of the modern web development frameworks, such as Angular, React, Vue, Bootstrap, Ember, etc.; developing Azure Services using Web Apps, Web Jobs, Queuing framework and NO SQL Databases and test-driven development; 1 year of experience utilizing Modern data storage technologies like Table/Blob Storage, Avro, or Parquet. Telecommuting permitted. May live anywhere in the U.S.
