PB Professional Services Inc. has an opening for a Senior Sales Compensation Systems Analyst in Shelton, Connecticut.
 
The Senior Sales Compensation Systems Analyst’s job duties include the following: Support operations, analysis and administration of sales compensation plans. Responsible for technical aspects in design, development and build of IBM Incentive Compensation Management (Varicent) system. Create processes for calculation using systems, excel and databases to enable accurate calculation of commissions payments for all sales levels. Create and develop system-based management reports, translate compensation requirements from Sales Ops into automated solutions, and design, plan and create compensation plans and reports in the ICM (Varicent) system. Work with Sales Operations on compensation plan creation and modification, and assist in the implementation of the yearly compensation plan update. Define and resolve, technical and process solutions within ICM (Varicent) system.

Qualifications

Successful candidates must possess at least a master’s degree or its equivalent in Computer Engineering, Computer Applications or related field and at least three years of prior work experience in Sales Compensation. in the alternative, a bachelor’s degree or its equivalent in Computer Engineering, Computer Applications or related field and at least five years of prior progressive work experience in Sales Compensation. Must possess at least three years of prior work experience with EACH of the following: ICM (Varicent) system or comparable systems; programming to maintain, build and change compensation plans in the ICM (Varicent) system or comparable systems; report and statement design, creation and troubleshooting in the ICM (Varicent) system or comparable systems; managing sales compensation processes, processing and reviewing calculations; test plan creation and unit testing; creating technical documentation; monitoring trends in compensation to highlight issues/risks; and consulting with internal and external customers to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
