Senior Electrical Controls Engineer, Covidien LP (a Medtronic company), North Haven, CT.

Requires a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related engineering degree and five (5) years of experience as an electrical engineer, automation engineer, electrical controls engineer or related occupation in electrical controls engineering, or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related engineering degree and two (2) years of experience as an electrical engineer, automation engineer, electrical controls engineer or related occupation in electrical controls engineering. Experience must include a minimum of two (2) years of each of the following: medical device development; Good Manufacturing practices and Good Documentation Practices; Root cause investigation and documentation; Engineering test protocol development, execution, and reporting; Equipment specifications and installation; Implementation of control solutions for manufacturing equipment and processes; Programmable Logic Controllers (PLC’s) & Human Machine Interface (HMI) development; Electrical Schematics Design, Control System Circuit design; and Test System Setup.
