Mechanical Design Engineers, Covidien LP (a Medtronic company), North Haven, CT. Requires Master in Mechanical Engineering or related engineering field & 1 year experience as mechanical engineering, mechanical design engineering, or related occupation in mechanical engineering. Must possess minimum 1 year experience with each of the following: Design & development of computer controlled electro-mechanical components &/or system limited to analysis, testing & evaluation; 3D CAD software to include SolidWorks & Creo; GD&T, FMEA, DFMA & DOE tools; Stat. analysis using Minitab; Manufacturing processes including sheet-metal forming, polymer thermoforming, metal casting, painting & finishing, injection molding, machining & extrusions; Technical report writing; Coordinate requirements, design verification protocols in trace matrices including JAMA.
