Northeast Medical Group Inc. seeks Hospitalist Physicians to work at Bridgeport Hospital in Bridgeport, CT. Hospitalists provide comprehensive care to medicine inpatients primarily through admissions and cross coverage. Hospitalists contact the patient's primary care provider about in-hospital / follow-up care; provide primary care physician with summary of patient's stay, including hospital diagnosis, new prescriptions / treatment. Candidates must have a valid CT physician license prior to employment commencing; M.D. or D.O. degree or certified foreign equivalent degree; completion of Internal Medicine residency program; and BE/BC in Internal Medicine.
