Fundamental Investment Analyst (Aristeia Capital, LLC; Greenwich, CT).
Job Duties: Perform research and analysis regarding the financial state of industries and companies, market trends and economic factors to identify new investment opportunities. Analyze and interpret complex financial documentation, such as financial statements, profit and loss sheets, and cash flow information, using quantitative methods and financial modeling. Build and maintain financial models to validate performance, ensure that future investment performance is reported accurately, and inform valuation of investments in corporate loans, bonds, and equity.
Minimum Requirements: Master's degree or foreign degree equivalent in Finance, Mathematics or a related field. Four years of experience, some or all of which could be gained before earning a master's degree, as an Investment Analyst or a related occupation.
Experience must include four years of experience in all the following categories: (i) Performing research, analysis and due diligence on potential investment opportunities; (ii) Analyzing and interpreting complex financial documentation such as financial statements, profit and loss sheets, and cash flow information; and (iii) Building, maintaining and improving financial models for use in making investment decisions based on reliable data. High-level proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel and PowerPoint.
