Director of Corporate Catastrophe Analysis

Insurance: W.R. Berkley Corporation (Greenwich, CT) seeks Director of Corporate Catastrophe Analysis with BS in actuarial science or any relevant STEM degree & 7 years in catastrophe analysis/modeling experience. Must have experience with 1) Catastrophe modeling for both natural catastrophes & terrorism, including workers compensation, in respect to related insurance coverage; 2) Analyze large datasets with ability to manipulate & obtain pertinent info; 3) Statistical analysis on output from Catastrophe model to assist with reinsurance purchase; 4) RMS or similar equivalent catastrophe modeling software; & 5) SQL coding, VBA programming & MS Excel to query data directly from Catastrophe modeling software.

Salary: $148,782 - $182,900.
