Perform research for decisions on proposed changes to US GAAP Financial Reporting Taxonomy. ID, propose, & implement changes resulting from Accounting Standards Updates & perform qualitative analysis of public co. XBRL exhibits as filed with SEC to ID common reporting practices & modeling choices for inclusion in Taxonomy. Help complete annual Taxonomy update. Assist with development & pub of educ materials to facilitate use of Taxonomy. Assist with activities to integrate structured data considerations more deeply into standards-setting process. Assist with Taxonomy working groups. Participate in education outreach. Must possess at least bachelor's or equivalent in Accounting or related & at least 2 years of program experience in public accounting &/or industry, with skills in tech accounting. Must also possess at least 2 years of experience with: US GAAP for non-governmental entities; accounting & financial reporting; researching recently issued accounting standards & using FASB Accounting Standards Codification; performing research using SEC XBRL filings; & data modeling. Must also hold CPA or be CPA candidate.
