Airport Rescue/Firefighter & Operations
Position involves 8- or 10-hour rotations shifts between the hours of 5:00 a.m. and 11:00 p.m., 7 days a week including holidays. Duties include aircraft rescue and firefighting coverage, operating a variety of manual and heavy equipment, adhering to a strict operational inspection program, and performing buildings and grounds maintenance.
Starting wage ranges from $25.26 to $25.71 per hour, DOQ. Minimum qualifications include possession of valid MN CDL driver's license and 3 years' experience operating and maintaining vehicles and heavy equipment. Desirable qualifications include completion of Firefighter Basic training and possession of EMT certification. Vocational training diploma in heavy equipment operation and maintenance may substitute for up to two years' experience.
