Borough of Frackville Civil Service Commission is seeking applications for the position of Full-time Police Officer.

Forms required to be completed in order to apply for the position of full-time police officer are available at the Borough Office, 42 South Center Street, Frackville, between the hours of 8:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m., Monday through Friday. Applicants must be 21 years of age or older, possess a Diploma from an accredited high school or Graduate Equivalency Diploma, and reside within 30 miles of the Borough. All applicants must have successfully completed Act 120 training by the time an offer of employment is made and be eligible for certification by the Municipal Police Officers Education and Training Commission. In addition, every applicant must be physically and mentally fit to perform the full duties of a police officer and possess a valid motor vehicle operator’s license issued by the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. Experience will be considered in salary discussions.

Other mandatory components of the test are an oral examination, a physical fitness test, a medical examination, background exam, and a psychological examination, all of which will be scheduled at a later date.
