Communications and Special Events Manager – Full Time
The Borough of Conshohocken is accepting applications for a full-time Communications and Special Events Manager in the Office of the Borough Manager. The Communications and Special Events Manager professionally and responsibly manages and coordinates all public information and community events in accordance with Borough policies and procedures as directed by the Borough Manager. This position is responsible for developing newsletters, brochures, website updates, social media updates, and press releases. A Bachelor’s Degree is required.A Bachelor’s Degree in English or Communications is strongly preferred. Review of applications will begin immediately and continue until the position is filled. Candidates must be proficient in the use of computers and Microsoft Office; have excellent communication and writing skills; and a demonstrated ability to provide exceptional customer service. Knowledge of productions skills and design software is preferred. Experience in municipal and state government is preferred.
