The Town of Boonsboro will be accepting resumes for the combined position of Town Planner, Zoning Administrator and Code Enforcement Officer. A Bachelor’s Degree in Planning, Environmental Planning, Public Administration or another related field is required. Experience with GIS, Land Use Planning, and Maryland's National Pollutant Discharge Elimination System (NPDES) Municipal Separate Storm Sewer System (MS4) Permit Regulations is desired. Applicants should have a minimum of three (3) years experience in Local Government, Land Use, Planning and Zoning, Land Use Law and Policy or other related experience, of which at least one (1) year was in Municipal Government. Applicants should have thorough knowledge of the Laws and Principles and Practices of Municipal Land Use, Planning and Zoning, the Regulation of the Subdivision of Land, and related State Laws and Regulations.
