3rd Shift Mixer - $19/hour
SUMMARY: This position assures quality of incoming raw materials, formulate ingredients to produce cone batter and conduct quality checks of finished product. Also responsible for packing finished cone products, visual inspection of cones and palletizing product when not in the mix room.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Primary responsibilities is to coordinate the mixing area by blending ingredients on an ongoing consistent basis within specifications; to formulate batter which is pumped to ovens for cone manufacturing. Also has the responsibility to perform repetitive work to pack cones into packaging for shipping. Monitors quality of finished product and communicates problem to Oven Operator, Quality Tech, and Team Leader. Duties include regular clean up of mix tanks, pipes, and room. Duties will include performing quality assurance testing of both incoming raw materials and finished cone product and recording of information. Filling out mix room production reports. Sets up packaging to prepare for packing and shipping. Stacks finished goods cases for palletization. Applies labels on packing materials. Adherence to the company attendance policy is required, which includes expectations of punctuality and limited unapproved absences Other duties as assigned.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE: High school diploma or equivalent and/or prior mix making experience.
