CHEESE STORE MANAGER - FULL-TIME • 1ST SHIFT
Duties: Manage all cheese store administrative tasks, supervise all cheese store staff, prepare store for opening and closing and provide customer service and package string cheese orders. The ideal candidate is someone that has impeccable customer service skills and is dependable and can multi-task. This position is responsible for inventory, ordering, invoicing, shipping, and monthly reporting. Knowledge of using a cash register. Basic bookkeeping and experience using QuickBooks is required. Experience with recruiting and supervising staff is required.
Wages: Hourly wage starting at $20.00 - $23.00 per hour based on experience, skills, and abilities.
CHEESE STORE ASSOCIATE - FULL-TIME • 1ST SHIFT
Duties: Provide customer service and package string cheese orders. The ideal candidate needs to be dependable and have the ability to multi-task. Knowledge of using a cash register and computer skills are preferred.
Wages: Hourly wage starting at $14.00 - $16.00 per hour.
SHIPPING/RECEIVING SUPERVISOR - FULL-TIME • 1ST SHIFT
Duties: Direct and coordinate all operations within the Shipping/Receiving Department, which includes supervisory responsibility of direct reports, and all activities relating to shipping, receiving, and warehouse storage to ensure that a safe, legal and quality finished product is distributed efficiently to all customers.
Coursework, diploma, or degree in a related field is preferred. Previous shipping/receiving or warehouse experience is required. Previous supervisory and barcode software experience is preferred. Prospective employees must be able to constantly work in a refrigerated environment with temperature ranges between 35 and 40 degrees Fahrenheit and be able to tolerate working at heights up to 25 feet.
Wages: Minimum starting rate of pay is $24.00 - $25.00 per hour based on experience, skills, and abilities.
MACHINE MAINTENANCE/OPERATOR - FULL-TIME • 2ND SHIFT
Duties: Perform machine repair and preventative maintenance of packaging equipment. Move machines to setup lines for production, make adjustments, and manage line operations to keep lines performing at maximum efficiency.
Electrical experience is preferred but not required. This position requires the ability to constantly walk and stand; frequently lift up to 50 lbs.; occasionally lift up to 75 lbs.; and frequently bend twist, squat, stoop, kneel, crawl, reach, and push.
Monday-Friday, 2:00 pm – 1:00 am. Some Saturday overtime hours are expected.
Wages: Hourly wage starting at $22.10 - $25.10 based on experience, skills, and abilities.
SANITATION - FULL-TIME • 3RD SHIFT
Under the supervision of a licensed Cheesemaker, perform manual labor involved in the cheese-making process, constantly monitor the equipment to ensure that everything is operating effectively, and constantly monitor the product to ensure high quality and high food safety standards. Clean the facility including floors and equipment while maintaining high food safety standards. This includes CIP (Clean in place) equipment.
The position requires the ability to constantly walk and stand; frequently lift up to 50 pounds; occasionally lift up to 80 pounds; and constantly bend, twist, squat, stoop, kneel, crawl, reach, and push. Dairy or food manufacturing experience is a plus. Previous production and/or sanitation experience is also preferred.
Shifts normally starts at 6:00 pm and ends around 3:30 am, Monday – Friday, with some weekend hours expected at various times throughout the year.
Wages: Minimum starting rate is $21.40 per hour.
PACKAGING WORKER - FULL-TIME • 2ND SHIFT
Duties: handling and filling sticks of string cheese into a variety of packaging machines in a critical food safety environment. The work environment is fast-paced and the position requires the ability to stand constantly, and to lift up to 25 pounds on a frequent basis. Scheduled hours will be Monday -
Friday with Saturdays as needed. Second shift usually starts at 2:30 pm and ends after all of the cheese is packaged (usually about 9.5 hours).
Wages: Minimum starting rate is $20.75 per hour. Final rate, after fully trained, is $21.75 per hour.
PLANT MAINTENANCE ELECTRICIAN - FULL-TIME • 3RD SHIFT
Duties: This position is responsible for performing electrical maintenance tasks on plant utility and process infrastructure. This position is also responsible to assist mechanics as needed for continuous plant operation.
Ability to perform any necessary electrical work in the plant including but not limited to installation, repair, modification, and preventative maintenance of electrical systems. Must have five years of experience in plant electrical maintenance, three years of experience in automation system maintenance. A Wisconsin Electrician Journeyman license (or greater) or equivalent field experience required.
Monday – Friday, 10:00 pm – 7:00 am.
Wages: Minimum starting rate is $31.50 per hour, or greater, based on experience, skills, and abilities.
CHEESEMAKER (OR TABLE OPERATOR) - FULL-TIME • 2ND SHIFT
Cheesemakers use critical decision-making skills to make cheese and manage product flow throughout the production area while maintaining high food quality and food safety standards.
Table operators work under the supervision of a licensed Cheesemaker to assist in making cheese while maintaining high quality in food and safety standards.
The position requires the ability to constantly walk and stand, frequently reach forward and overhead, occasionally lift 10 – 80 lbs., and occasionally bend and twist. Dairy or food manufacturing experience is preferred. Current cheesemaker’s license is preferred. Reliability and dependability are critical.
Scheduled hours will be 12:00 pm – 9:00 pm, Monday – Friday and scheduled production Saturdays. Shift times will vary slightly on an occasional basis to cover for department absences.
Wages: Hourly wage starting at $21.65 - $23.15 based on experience, skills, and abilities.
PLANT MAINTENANCE (ELECTRO MECHANICAL) - FULL-TIME • 3RD SHIFT
This job is responsible for maintaining various critical manufacturing and plant operational equipment including boilers, separator, pasteurizer, etc. Responsibilities also include facilities maintenance and extensive preventative maintenance. The ideal candidate should have experience with dairy and PLC troubleshooting abilities. We are also interested in candidates that possess a mechanical ability and are very interested and willing to learn.
• Monday – Friday, 6:00 pm to 3:00 am
• Sunday – Thursday, 6:00 pm to 3:00 am
Wages: Minimum starting rate is $22.50 - $29.50 per hour, based on experience, skills, and abilities.
