Conduct physical and psychological examinations on patients; order diagnostic tests; interpret patient's medical history, symptoms and test results to diagnose diseases and level of acuteness; discuss with physicians to develop appropriate treatment plans for episodic and chronic diseases in an outpatient setting; treat diseases and injuries; prescribe medications and physical therapy; counsel patients about drug regiments, possible side effects and interactions with other substances; provide preventive care and recommend therapy or other preventive measures for health care and disease management; perform routine physical examinations; maintain medical information in EHR (electronic health record) system.
Requires: MS in Nursing from an accredited nursing program; CA RN license; CA FNP license; DEA number; NPI number; at least one-year prior work experience as RN. $102,502/year.
