Accounting Controller

We are searching for a highly analytical Accounting Controller to oversee our Real Estate and Rental company’s financial planning and accounting operations. The ideal candidate will be an excellent communicator with outstanding interpersonal and leadership abilities. Duties to include: Perform and oversee all accounting for the #1 Luxury Real Estate and Rental company in the valley. Manage an accounting team of 4. Day to day record keeping and bookkeeping tasks. Communicate with management regarding cash flow and financial reporting. Prepare Accounts and perform reconciliations for external auditors. Ensures company is compliant with local, state and federal governments. Implement and maintain internal control policies and procedures. Set up/manage banking and finance activities. Proper reporting and payment to taxing authorities. Handles Payroll, 401K, and benefits with our 3rd party vendor

Requirements: Real Estate and Rental background preferred. Bachelor’s degree (BA/BS) from a four-year college or university, CPA, CMA, or CFA certification prefered. Ten years’ overall combined related significant accounting and finance experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience as determined by manager. Strong understanding of general accounting principles. Exemplary supervisory, communication, technology and analytic skills. Advanced aptitude and experience in oral and written communication including analysis, preparation, and report presentation. Advanced experience required with Microsoft Excel, QuickBooks desktop and accounting software

Job Type: Full-time In Office

Pay: $100,000.00 - $125,000.00 per year
