Employee will be creating engineering design plans for energy-efficient or environmental sound structures. Must be able to interpret the Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT), American Association of State Highway and Transportation Officials (AASHTO), and Florida Greenbook Manuals. Must be able to analyze survey reports, design manuals, maps, drawings, blueprints, aerial photography, or other topographical or geologic data. Must be proficient in MicroStation and Geopakalong with the FDOT bar menu tool. Must have experience developing crosssections, drainage, signing and pavement markings, erosion control, and temporary traffic control designs. Must be able to prepare transportation project budgets, schedules, and specifications for labor materials. Must be able to prepare quantities/cost estimates for equipment and labor, to present in public reports. Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering required, plus +12 months of experience as a Transportation Engineer and must have passed Fundamentals of Engineering (F.E) exam.

Salary $55,000.00 annually.
