Police Officer Exam and Physical Agility Test

The Ambler Borough Police Department will conduct a physical agility test and written exam on Saturday, November 2, 2024. The testing will occur at Wissahickon High School, 521 Houston Road Ambler, PA 19002. Registration will begin at 7:30 am and the Physical Agility Test will start at 8:00 am followed by the written exam. Please dress in PT attire. This test establishes a Civil Service list of applicants for the position of Probationary Police Officer. The application fee is 35.00 in cash and credit cards only. No checks will be accepted.

Minimum Requirements: • U.S. Citizen • Minimum Age: 21 years • High School Diploma or GED • Must be Act 120 Certified • Hold a valid Pennsylvania Driver’s License • No arrests of a third-degree misdemeanor or higher • Able to physically perform the duties of a police officer • Live within 25 miles or move within 25 miles within 1 year.
