Environmental Compliance Specialist I & II - Air Quality
Ensure compliance with EPA, Tribal, & State air quality regulations.
Education and Experience
Bachelor’s degree in environmental science with an emphasis in air quality or in a relevant and appropriate physical science or engineering-related discipline, and five years work experience in an air quality regulatory compliance related area; OR, a Master’s degree in environmental science with an emphasis in air quality or in a relevant and appropriate physical science or engineering-related discipline, and three years work experience in an air quality compliance related position; OR a high school diploma or equivalent and ten years experience performing progressively more responsible air quality regulatory compliance related tasks. Must have at least three years work experience in the oil and gas industry. Must have working knowledge of federal and state air quality laws, rules and regulations. Must have the ability to utilize database systems for tracking compliance related requirements and issues. Must have experience in computer software programs within the MS Windows environment including Word, Excel, Access, and PowerPoint. Must be willing to participate in a positive and productive team-oriented environment and develop effective working relationships with co-workers. Must have valid driver’s license for state of residency and be insurable under the Aka Energy Group vehicle insurance policy. Must pass a pre-employment drug test and criminal history background check.
