Web Designer

OVERVIEW:
The main responsibility of the Web Designer is to design, build and maintain the overall aesthetics, layout, and functionality for ADN’s events and ADN’s affiliate company websites, including but not limited to ADN Store, Peak2Peak Events, Elevate Digital Solutions, and various event websites. This includes coding websites, maintaining website content, improving functionality, and optimizing for search engines. This role will work closely with the marketing and events teams and is responsible for creating visually appealing and functional website sites.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Coding website’s navigation

Design, build, maintain functional and aesthetically pleasing websites

Design buttons, forms and other website controls

Fix and update functionality issues

Update and maintain the site and site content
-
Analyze and review and update websites regularly so they are optimized for search engines and user experience

Monitor and analyze website analytics and user feedback and perform routine updates to website layouts, design, functionality and content

Staying up to date on current technologies and trends as it relates to website design, development, and optimizations

Digital ad creation used to market websites
-
Other duties as assigned based on the needs of the business and department.
KEY SKILLS

Bachelor’s degree, certificate in a technology-relating (preferably be in web design, graphic design or computer science), or equivalent work experience is required.

HTML and CSS
-
Experience with design software (e.g., Photoshop)

Understanding of UX/UI (user experience/user interface) design

Knowledge of SEO (search engine optimization)

Webflow development experience
-
Good visual design sense
-
Experience in responding well to design requests
