Development Services Manager

Full-time, exempt position with a starting salary range of $76,731. 00 - $92,061. 00 annually, DOQ. Closes 4/24/19.


Primary Responsibilities:
 Responsible for directing, supervising, and managing the activities of the Planning Review and Development Review sections, including supervision of section supervisors and support personnel.
 Supervises the preparation and management of the departmental budget; develops policies, procedures, and goals; participates in the development of District goals, policies, and procedures.
 Coordinates Development activities with other internal departments and attends Commission meetings to present projects and/or provide information.


Traffic Operations Engineer

(or Assistant Engineer)
Full-time, exempt position with a starting salary range of $58,739. 00 - $76,107. 00 annually, DOQ. Closes 4/24/19.

Primary Responsibilities:
 Under the supervision of the Congestion Management Supervisor, the Traffic Operations (Ops) Engineer/Asst. Traffic Ops Engineer plans, organizes and implements traffic flow and safety improvements, including signal timing and coordination; makes adjustments to signal timing for construction, special events and incidents that result in detours and/or lane closures.
 Investigates and resolves traffic signal operations-related problems and complaints; communicates with individual citizens via phone and in writing regarding the operation of traffic signals.
 Will assist in the operation of the Traffic Management Center (TMC).


General Equipment Operator – Broom Crew (nights)

Full-time, non-exempt position with a starting wage range of $17.83 - $20.50 per hour, DOQ. Closes 4/24/19.

Primary Responsibilities:
 Under general supervision of the Broom Crew Chief, the primary duty of this position is to operate a street sweeper and 10-wheel dump truck.
 Responding to winter weather conditions and other emergencies is an essential function of this position and may require working outside of normal work hours.
 Must have a current Idaho Class “A” CDL license. If license is from another state, must be able to obtain an Idaho CDL by start of employment. Must obtain a tanker endorsement within 30 days of employment.
Must be able to work nights (12:00 midnight – 10:30 a.m., Tuesday through Friday).
