Bookkeeper/Account Specialist and/or Auditor
Abacus Accounting & Bookkeeping is seeking a talented Account Specialist and/or auditor to join our team. Account Specialists have the opportunity to work from home, with occasional visits to clients' offices, meetings, and team training. The ideal candidate for this position is an excellent multi-tasker, reliable and committed to consistently meeting deadlines.
Essential Job Duties
Manage day-to-day accounting for assigned clients Reconcile bank accounts, credit card accounts, and notes Maintain the chart of accounts Verify that transactions are recorded correctly Prepare financial reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing account information Prepare quarterly and monthly payroll and sales tax returns Work independently and make decisions in accordance with established policies and regulations
Additional Job Duties

- Budgeting and Forecasting
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance
- 6+ years of finance, accounting, or bookkeeping experience
- Expert in QuickBooks Desktop & QuickBooks online (required)
- Have your own laptop, printer, scanner, and dedicated work space.
Full-time, contract position $21-$25 hourly.
Previous management experience preferred.
